4. Banking Data & Plaid
We connect to your bank using Plaid, an industry-standard financial data platform used by apps like Venmo, Robinhood, and Mint. When you connect your bank:
- You log in directly through Plaid's secure interface — we never see your banking username or password
- Plaid provides us with read-only access to your transaction history
- We cannot initiate transfers, move money, or make changes to your bank account
- You can disconnect your bank at any time

5. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal information. We share data only with:
- Plaid: To connect to your bank and retrieve transaction data
- Stripe: To process Pro subscription payments
- Firebase (Google): To store your account information and app data securely

- Firebase security rules ensuring only you can access your data
- Read-only bank access through Plaid — we cannot move your money

2. What Fixd Does
Fixd is a subscription tracking service that helps you identify recurring charges on your bank account and manage your subscriptions. Fixd uses read-only bank access and cannot move or withdraw your money.
3. Your Account
- You must be at least 13 years old to use Fixd
- You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account
- You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account
4. Free Plan
The Free plan allows you to:
- Connect your bank and view all subscriptions
- Cancel up to 3 subscriptions
- View your spending overview
5. Fixd Pro Subscription
Fixd Pro is available for $4.99 per month and includes unlimited cancellations, bill negotiation, and all premium features.
- You will be billed $4.99/month until you cancel
- You can cancel your Pro subscription at any time
- Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period
- We offer a 30-day money-back guarantee for new Pro subscribers
- Payments are processed securely by Stripe
6. Bank Connection
By connecting your bank through Plaid, you authorize Fixd to:
- Access your transaction history in read-only mode
- Identify recurring subscription charges
- Display your spending data within the Fixd app
You can disconnect your bank at any time. Fixd cannot initiate transactions or move money from your account.
7. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Fixd for any illegal purpose
- Attempt to hack, reverse engineer, or disrupt Fixd
- Share your account with others
- Provide false information to Fixd
8. Disclaimer
Fixd provides financial information for informational purposes only. We are not a bank, financial advisor, or credit counselor. Always verify important financial decisions independently.
9. Limitation of Liability
Fixd is provided "as is." To the maximum extent permitted by law, Fixd is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the service.
